Emma O. Johnson Passes Away
Mrs. Emma O. Johnson, 85, of Cascade Rd., Ada, passed away Friday morning at the
Ionia County Memorial Hospital. She had been hospitalized two days. A lifelong resident of

Cascade township she had always resided on the farm where she was born.

Mrs. Johnson was a music teacher for many years in the Alto and Cascade areas.

She was a member of the Christian Science church and the Cascade Eastern Star
chapter.

There were no immediate survivors, only cousins, which included Robert Johnson of
Lake Odessa.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Monday at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa, with burial in the Whitneyville cemetery. High Priest Dirk Vinema officiated.
