Lake Odess Wave
          KENNETH JOHNSON DIED THURSDAY
   Kenneth Leroy Johnson 31, passed away at Blodgett Hospital, Grand Rapids,
Thursday evening where he has been admitted 24 hours earlier.
   Ken was born in Grand Rapids, the son of Bernard and Lila Johnson, and moved here
when about ten years of age.  He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air 
Corps.  After returning from service, he was part owner of the Electric Sales and 
Service before the business partnership was dissolved.  He opened his own shop known 
as the Johnson Radio and Television Service about five years ago.
  He was a member of the IOOF Lodge, Lake Odessa Fire Department and LaVerne
Delharay Post 112, American Legion.
   Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Marie Demaray, four children, Melody,
John, Michael and Terri;  his parents, Bernard Johnson of Lake Odessa and Mrs. George 
Barnes of Grand Rapids;  one sister, Mrs Merlin (Margaret) Moe of Clarksville;  six 
brothers, George of Clarksville, Clarence (Sonny) of Mt. Laguna, California, 
Ernest, Allyn, Jerry, and Larry, Lake Odessa.
