Marian Elaine (Behnke) Johnson
Lake Odessa, MI - Marian Elaine (Behnke) Johnson of Lake Odessa died on July 21, 
2017.

Always known as Elaine, she was born August 20,1926 in Grand Rapids, daughter of 
Carl and Elsie Behnke.

Elaine is survived by Martin, her husband of 65 years; her sister, Marjorie 
Benson Ionia. She is also survived by three daughters, Anne (Larry) Adams, Linda 
Hanger (Michael Cole) all of Lake Odessa and Mary (Donald) Stanfill of Tawas 
City and six grandchildren, Kurt (Channing) and Elizabeth Adams, Meredith 
(Rusty) Coleman, Joshua Hanger and Amanda Stanfill, also seven great-
grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Edward Church, Lake Odessa, on Saturday, 
July 29, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery, lake 
Odessa.

Memorials can be given to the VFW National Home for children 3573 S. Waverly Rd.
