IZOLA LORRAINE JOHNSON
Izola "Zoe" Lorraine (Davis) Johnson
Died June 27, 2017-age 87 at home in Amble.
Born April 4, 1930 in Ionia, MI to Marvin & Nellie (Montgomery) Davis.
Graduated Ionia High School class of 1948 & band color guard.
Zoe worked at the Sentinel Standard & at the old Meijer location.
Married Feb. 21, 1953 to Roscoe Johnson.
Worked at Lakeview Medical Canter & Pickle Docks in the 60's. 
In 1967 she earned a cosmetology degree from LaParent Beauty School, then 
operated the Amble beauty shop from 1967-1985.
In retirements they spent winters in Apache Junction, AZ.
Preceded in death by husband Roscoe in 2008, son-in-law  & step-grandson.
Survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four 
great-grandchildren & three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements with Heckman Funeral Home in Howard city. 
Services will be at Amble United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, Visitation 
at noon, funeral to follow at Amble cemetery.
