Excerpt from Obituary;
MARY ELLEN JOHNSON of Wyoming, MI.
Died Thursday October 5, 2017-age 86.
Born January 1, 1931 in Grand Rapids to Ben & Dorcas Hoekstra.
She Moved to Clarksville with parents at age 10, Her mother died the next year.
She was raised by her grandmother & her father. 
Her father, Ben remarried when she was 16 to Josephine Potter & they moved back 
to Grand Rapids.
Mary Ellen married Bernard Johnson in 1953 & they lived in Wyoming.
They were parents of three children, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild 
and one on the way.
Private services to be held later. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws 
with a Cause or the Arthritis Foundation of Michigan.
