Daily Standard - Monday, Dec. 15, 1902

Mrs. Jane D. Johnson, mother of Mrs. Oscar Dean, died at Los Angeles, California, 
just before Mr. and Mrs. Dean arrived there. Mrs. Johnson was a pioneer resident 
of Ionia and most highly esteemed by all who knew her. Mrs. Dean is greatly eased 
with California, declaring it to be the next place to heaven.


Dec. 16th.
Died, at Los Angeles, Cal. on Dec. 8, at 1:30 p.m., Mrs. Jane B. Johnson, widow 
of Ethan S. Johnson,  in the 79th year of her age.
