Lake Odessa Wave - April 22, 1965
          MRS. ROSE JOHNSON DIES AT LANSING
   Mrs. Rose Wachter Johnson, 82, of 111 Smith Avenue, Lansing, passed away at the
Ingham Medical Hospital 
at Lansing Thursday morning.  She had been hospitalized for 15 days.
   A native of Odessa township, she had been a resident of Lake Odessa and Woodland
before her marriage to 
Floyd Johnson in 1940.
   Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. Frances Hollandsworth of Lansing; a
son Carl Wachter of 
Hastings; four grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Emma Lucas of Grand Rapids.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, with
burial n Lakeside cemetery.  
Rev. Laurence Lowell officiated.
