Lake Odessa Wave Thursday March 25, 1954

MYRTLE M. JOHNSON LIFELONG RESIDENT DIED SATURDAY

Miss Myrtle M.Johnson 70, local lifelong resident, passed away Saturday night at 
a hospital at Phoenix, Ariz. She and her sister Gladys were spending the winter 
at Mesa where Miss Johnson was taken ill.

She has always lived in the present home. Her parents were Walter and Marcia 
(Tupper) Johnson, early pioneers.

Miss Johnson reposed at he Pickens Funeral Chapel until Thursday afternoon then 
taken to the residents where funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m.. 
Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
