Ionia Daily Sentinel Wednesday August 4, 1909

There were two deaths at the county house this week. Jacob W Johnson, aged 66, 
died suddenly Tuesday at 1 o'clock. He had been at the county house since 
January, and came from Otisco. William W.Burleigh sent there originally from the 
Third ward of the city of Ionia, was 37 years of age. He had been sick for a year 
and in bed several weeks. No relatives.Both were buried in the county cemetery 
lot at the farm.
