                            GEORGE T.JOHNSON

PORTLAND-George T.Johnson, 76, 14300 S. Clintonia Rd.Portland, died at his home 
Saturday, July 19, 1980.

He was born Sept. 27, 1903 in Michigan the son of Ira Johnson and Mary Grinell.


He was retired from the Reo Motor Company in Lansing.

He is survived by one son, George R.Johnson of Portland; three daughters, 
Mrs.Marjorie Coffey of Sunfield, Mrs.Loretta Posey of Portland, and Mrs.Mary 
Oxendale of Lansing; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one 
brother, Homer Johnson of Mecosta.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at he Neller Funeral Home in 
Portland. the Rev. Maurice Christenson of the Portland Baptist Church will 
officiate.

Burial will be in Danby cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Otis Posey, Ralph Oxendale, Mark Oxendale, David Oxendale, 
Harold Remington and Robert Remington.
