December 2, 1971 NAOMI JOHNSON Funeral service for Mrs.Naomi E.Johnson of 8861 East Peck Road, Greenville were held Saturday afternoon at the Charles M.Courser Funeral Home. Mrs.Johnson died November 24 at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital after a three week illness. Mrs.Johnson a former Belding resident, was born March 15, 1903 in Bloomer Township, Ionia County. She was the daughter of Loren and Anna Brooks. She was a member of the Blue Star Mothers, Royal Neighbors and Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs.Carl (Armada) Sawdy of Lake Odessa, Mrs.Richard(Marlene) Rendall of Greenville, Mrs.Elton (Charlene) Barrett of Wyoming City, and Miss Judy Lee Woten, at home; one son Paul Woten of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs.Paul (Lila) Midlam of Greenville, Mrs.Thomas (Ethel) Hartz of Muir, Mrs John (Violet) Irwin of Colorado Springs,Colorado, and Mrs.John (Francis) Orvis of Lakeland, Florida; one half-brother William Johnson of Yakima, Washington; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rev. W.Jeff Webb officiated at the services.Interment was at River Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elton Barrett, Richard Rendall, Robert Staffen, Carl Sawdy, Terry Lloyd, and Allen Sawdy.
