Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Nov. 23, 1942

William Anthony Johnson, 66, died Sunday afternoon at the home of his 
sister, Ms. Clara Rose of Ionia township after a serious illness of three 
weeks. He made his home there for the past two years. He had worked for many 
years for the Ionia county road commission.

Surviving him is a brother, George A. Johnson of Ionia; five sisters, Mrs. 
Lee Bull of Ionia, Mrs. John Nickelson of New York city, Ms. Emily J. Carter 
of Muir, Mrs. Celia Seamon and Mrs. Clara Rose of Ionia. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock at the 
Myers funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
