The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 3, 1888
Harvey E. Johnson died at Strawn, Texas on Saturday evening.  “Harv” was an 
old Ionia boy, son of the late E. S. Johnson, brother of Mrs. E. B. Miller.  A 
few years back there was no one better known on our streets and few better 
liked than he, but he has gone the way of all the earth.  Peace to his ashes.
