Funeral Wednesday for Oxel Johnson

Funeral services for Oxel Johnson of near Belding were held Wednesday afternoon
at the Hoffman Funeral home in Belding with burial in the Mennonite cemetery. 
The deceased has been a bed patient for nearly two years and was a patient at
Blodgett hospital last; he was taken home late Saturday afternoon and passed
away in late evening Sunday.

He is survived by his wife Mary and two sons, Clair and Harold; also a number of
grandchildren; also a brother William Johnson of South Lowell and two sisters,
Mrs. Fred (Ida) Broadbent of S. Boston and Mrs. Albert (Selma) Johnson of Battle
Creek.

The deceased lived the major part of his life in this locality, moving to near
Belding only a few years ago.
