Lois L. (Upton) Hansbarger Johnson, age 81, passed away on February 9, 2007 
after a short illness.  She was born on July 16, 1925 the daughter of Victor 
and Flora (Johnson) Upton.  Lois was a member of the First Christian Church, 
Ionia where she was very active.  She was a lifelong resident of Ionia and 
small business owner.  She enjoyed gardening, golf, line dancing, swimming, 
skiing, playing bridge, and loved her poodle "Molly." 

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband William Johnson and 
sister Alice Weaver.  She is survived by her son Bill Hansbarger of Sarasota 
Florida, daughters Vicki (Doug) Gould of Belding, and Sue Hansbarger of 
Lansing, grandson Bud (Judy) Hansbarger, and several nieces and nephews. 

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 
the First Christian Church, Ionia with Pastor Armand Aronson presiding. 
Inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Spring. A luncheon 
will be held at the church immediately following the service.
