Sentinel-Std. - Monday, May 28, 1951

Mrs. Ellen Johnson, 95, died early Monday morning at the home of her grandson, 
Cecil Haskins of northwest of Lake Odessa She had made her home with him for 
the past several months.

She was born in Bolling Green, O., and came to Michigan with her parents when 
11 years old. She had resided on her farm home northwest of Lake Odessa for 84 
years.

Her husband, the late Joseph Johnson, was a pioneer of the Lake Odessa vicinity 
and he died 13 years ago.

She is survived by her grandson, Cecil Haskins; three great -grandchildren; one 
brother, Dan Shepherd of Newberry; and one sister, Mrs. Cora Anway, of Muskegon 
Heights.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Pickens funeral chapel 
and burial will be at Lakeside cemetery in Lake Odessa.
