Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. May 26, 2012

Jim Eddy Johnston of Key Largo, Fla., peacefully departed on Eternal Patrol 
yesterday,, Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 at 9:15 p.m. Jim would have been 80 on 
august 23rd this year.

Jim was the fourth of seven children of George and Pearl Johnston, now 
deceased. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Jack, Harry Carroll 
and wife Jean, and sister Lucille.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, the former Clara "Charlie" 
Rounds; two children, daughter Sue Hager and her three children, Shelly, 
Meagan, and Jessy, all of Ionia, son Robert of Key Largo, Fla.; and sisters, 
Lois (George) Miller of Lyons, Louise (Cleo) Scutt of Portland and Florence 
Johnston of St. Johns.

Jim was a proud Associate Member of U.S. Submarine Veterans WWII.

Jim was cremated, services to be determined at a future date.
