SUSAN OCENA JOHNSTON Mrs. Susan Ocena Johnston, 75, died Saturday morning, December 16, at 12:15 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ray Rathburn, 638 Bayard street, Susan Ocena Lincoln was born in Jackson county, April 9, 1864. She was united in marriage to William R. Johnston, March 11, 1884. He preceded her in death August 15, 1928. Surviving are five children, John Johnston of Hope, Idaho, Mr Anna Jewell Blanchard and George Johnston of 3102 Mill street, Gerald Johnston of 638 Bayard street, all of Ionia, 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and two brothers; Appolas Lincoln of Marshall and Charles Lincoln of Parma. Funeral service will be held at the Myers funeral home Monday December 18 at 2 p.m. FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR AGED WOMAN Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Susan Ocena Johnston, 75, who died here Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Ray Rathburn. Rites were held at the Meyers funeral home, Ionia. Mrs. Johnston was born in Jackson County and was married in 1884 to William R. Johnston. He died in 1928. Surviving are five children, John of Hope Ida., Mrs. Ann Jewell of Blanchard, George, Gerald and Mrs. Rathburn, all of Ionia, two brothers Appolas Lincoln of Marquette, Charles Lincoln of Parma. There are 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
