                                 MRS. C.B. JOHNSTON

Mrs. C.B.(Pearl L.) Johnston, age 86, of 947 Alderman St., died Sunday at 
Belding Community Hospital.

Born in Otisco township, Ionia county, August 24, 1878, she had spent her life-
time in this area. On October 13, 1906, she was married to C.B.Johnston and they 
celebrated last year and in December, Mr.Johnston preceded her in death.

Survivors included two daughters, Mrs.Hearzel(Lucile) Krouse, Belding, and 
Mrs.Porter (Marian) Walker, Greenville; seven grandchildren; 16 great-
grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Huffman funeral Home with the 
Rev.Marvin Moser of the First Church of God, officiating. Burial was in River 
Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gerald Zahm, Ernest Fries Jr., Bartelle Fries, Merrill Krouse, 
Norman Brown and Arthur Dehn Jr.
