Johnston, 74, of Ionia, Michigan, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Campus in Greenville, Michigan. Annie was born June 18, 1933 in Caldwell, Texas to Edward Faust and Katie (Rickley) Faust. On February 14, 1953 she wed her husband, Lawrence J. Johnston in Caldwell, Texas. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her children, Raymond and Cherylann Johnston of Orleans, Michigan; Joyce and Perry Miller of Fenwick, Michigan; Darlene and Mark Esparza of Ionia, Michigan and Terri and Michael Stemler of Ionia, Michigan; one sister, Lydia Bolton of Caldwell, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Barbara Ann, two sisters, one brother and her husband, Lawrence Johnston on March 4, 2002. Mrs. Johnston has been a longtime resident of Ionia and she has attended the Shiloh Community Church for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed dearly by all of her family. In addition, she loved hummingbirds and flowers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday, July 5th at the Shiloh Community Church, Orleans, Michigan. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 5, 2007, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Shiloh Community Church, Orleans, Michigan with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment will be at the McBride Cemetery, McBride, Michigan. For those desiring to do so, the family has suggested memorial considerations to the Shiloh Community Church.
