                                  Lorene M.Jonas

Lorene M.Jonas, 79 of Belding, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 14, 2010 at home 
under the loving care of her family and Faith Hospice.

Lorene was born on Aug.21, 1931 in Keene Township, Ionia County, the daughter of 
Paul and Hazel Taylor Kohn. She graduated with the Lowell High School class of 
1948. Lorene was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club, enjoyed antique cars 
and spending time with her family. She was married on May 26, 1951 in Biloxi, 
Miss., to Paul "Bud" Jonas and he survives along with their son and daughter-in-
law, Carl and Brenda Jonas, her grandchildren, Benjamin and Amber Jonas, Eric 
Jonas and two great-grandchildren Hunter and Finn all of Belding.

Lorene is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Jen Kohn of 
Grand Rapids, two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded by her parents. 
Graveside funeral services will be 1:30 p.m Saturday at Saranac Cemetery on Mill 
Street/David Hwy., Saranac with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. No visitation 
will take place.

Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook SE, Suite 
300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Funeral care has been entrusted to Johnson-
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
