Ionia Sentinel Standard, 10 Jul 1923

Horace Daniel, son of Jefferson and Lucy Jones, was born in Union township,
Isabella county, Mich., December 20, 1886, and departed this life July 2, 1923,
at the age of 36 years, six months and 12 days.  March 28, 1910, he was united
in marriage to Miss Ethel Goodwin.  To this union was born five children.  One
little son preceded him in death, having passed to the great beyond two years ago.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, four children, an aged father and mother, four
brothers, two sisters, and other relatives, besides a host of friends.

He was a kind husband and father, and a good neighbor, and will be greatly
missed.  Thus we are crossing the river, one by one.  May we meet beyond, where
the surges cease to roll.
