The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 11, 1969
A former resident of South Boston township, Robert L. Jones, 73, died Friday 
at Veterans hospital in Saginaw following a lengthy illness.  He was born 
August 12, 1895 in Ionia county and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emiel DeVlieger of Mishawaka, Ind. and Mrs. 
Victoria Leary of Traverse City.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home at 
Saranac.  Rev. John Hancock will officiate and interment will be at South 
Boston cemetery.
