The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 28, 1939

Funeral services for Stanley Jones, 20, Danby township farmer, were held 
Wednesday at Mulliken church.  Young Jones died Sunday two days after he fell 
from a load of hay and was impaled on an upright hay fork while thrashing 
Friday.  He was taken to St. Lawrence hospital at Lansing where he died.
