Donelda M. Jones was born Dec. 31, 1912 in Gratiot County the daughter of 
Thomas and Alice McNabb. She married Jack E. Jones in June 1934 and they 
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1984. She worked for Dr. Reagan 
for many years and farmed in Keene Township from 1943-1964 at which time she 
formed Jones Farm Meats. Donelda was a member of Easton United Methodist Church 
as a lifetime member. She was involved in many activities throughout her life: 
UMW ladies group, Eastern Star and Christian Church Services.

He was proceeded in death by her husband, Jack E. Jones, granddaughter Debra 
Jones and brothers and sisters, Ruth Church, George McNabb and Merel McNabb.

She is survived by one sister, Joyce Boling; son, Phillip (Janet) Jones; nieces 
and nephews, Karen Daniels, Kathleen Terzia, Darrell McNabb, Camma Harwood and 
Kara (John) Villareal grandchildren, Lee (Karen) Jones and Karl (Sarah) Jones; 
great-grandchildren, Missy (Jason) DeBoer, Katie Jones, Lance (Heather) Jones, 
Crystal (Joe) Barker, Kyle Jones and Kent Jones and one great-great-
granddaughter, Olivia Barker.

Due to declining health we are very grateful for Dr. Theresa Rouse, Katie 
Mendez, Phylis McDonald, Carmen Smith and Pastor Nancy Patera.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held on Sunday, Oct. 12 at 
Easton United Church, on Potters Road at 2 p.m. Those planning on expressions 
of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Easton Church building fund 
improvement project.
