Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Sept. 28, 1979

LANSING- Earl C. Jones, 79, of 1030 Woodale Lane, Lansing, died Thursday at a 
Lansing hospital. He was born April 12, 1900 in Wacousta, the son of Fred Jones 
and Tina Cutler.

Survivors include one son, James of Lansing; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Barbara0 
Beech of Lansing; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Evah Leavitt of Holt, Mrs. Florence Williams of Holt. 

Rosary services will be held today at 8 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home, 
Portland. Funeral mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. at the St. Patrick's 
Church in Portland with the Rev. Fr. Donald Weber officiating. Burial will be 
in the Portland Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Frank Beech, Earl miller, Frank and Joseph Macek and 
Martin and Joseph Galecka.
