Cecil Ney Jones, 91, of route 2, Remus, died Tuesday at the Sheridan Community 
hospital.

He was born June 5, 1884, in Bushnell township,  Montcalm county. He was a 
member of the Palo United Methodist church and had lived in the Palo are 58 
years before moving to Remus five years ago.

In 1908 he was married to Lula Bell McWilliams, who survives, as do three 
daughters, Mrs. Leone Barnes of Jackson, Mrs. Wanda Brown of Remus and Mrs. Hope 
Wheeler of Greenville; two sons, Paul and Max Jones of Higgins Lake; 11 
grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday at 2pm at the Palo United Methodist church.  Rev. 
John Gurney will officiate and interment will be at the Palo cemetery.

Arrangements by Stebbins-Simpson funeral home, Sheridan.
