Ionia Daily Sentinel, Fri., Nov. 12, 1909
Joel Jones, aged 71 and a pioneer of Ronald township died Thursday at 4 o'clock 
at his home in Vickeryville. Funeral Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Jones was a 
prominent Mason and the Masons will have charge of the funeral. He was well 
acquainted in Ionia county and was in Ionia homecoming week. He was an uncle of 
Will Somers of this city, who with Mrs. Somers, will attend the funeral.
