Jones, a former resident of Ionia, died in Oberlin, O., November 7 of leakage of the heart. The funeral services will be held in the Baptist church in Ionia Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Alfred Trenerry in charge. The burial will be in the Highland Park cemetery. Mr. Jones, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Jones, was born in Ionia 46 years ago, was reared in this vicinity, and later went to Grand Rapids to live, going afterwards to Oberlin, O., where he died. His wife and six children, one of whom is married, survive him. He also leaves two brothers, Henry of Ionia, and Guy, of Grand Rapids, and three sisters, Mrs. George Ostrander, of Ionia; Mrs. Lena Bour of Muskegon; Mrs. Hattie Satterlee, of Michigan City, Ind.
