Thomas Z. Jones, 80
Laid to Rest Saturday

Funeral services for Thomas Z. Jones, 80, were held last Saturday afternoon in
the Roth chapel, the Rev. R. M. Barksdale officiating.  Burial was in South
Boston cemetery.  Mr. Jones passed away last week Thursday after a long illness
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Leary in Boston-tp.  Thomas Jones was
born in Berkshead, England, on July 31, 1859.  When 21 years of age, he came to
the United States.  He resided in Grand Rapids for many years, employed as a
salesman.  He was a decorator by trade.  Mr. Jones had spent the past 12 years
in Boston-tp.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leary of South Boston and Mrs.
E. DeFleiger of Mishawaka, Ind.; two sons, R. L. Jones of So. Boston and Thomas
C. Jones of Grand Rapids; a step-daughter, Mrs. D. Reinsderger of South Bend,
Ind.
