Jonker, 3531 Hawley Rd., Belding, died Sunday morning, May 25, following a second heart attack. The first was suffered three weeks ago. Mr. Jonker was born October 24, 1908, in Rochelle, Ill., and had lived most of his life in Constantine. He came to his late home in Otisco township about five years ago and was employed as supervisor in the receiving department at Gibson’s. He as married to Miss Althea Fisher at Three Rivers, Mich., May 29, 1930. He was a member of the Methodist Church and of F.&A.M. No. 291, Rolling Prairie, Ind. Surviving are his wife, Althea; his father, Wesley Jonker, of the Masonic Home, Alma; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Teesdale, of Cedar Springs, and a nephew, Loren. Rev. Lester Clough of the Methodist Church officiated at the funeral service held Tuesday afternoon from Fales-Huffman Chapel, Belding. Belding Lodge F.&A.M. No. 355 conducted Masonic rites and burial was in River Ridge Cemetery. Bearers were G. F. Dreger, Russell Sage, Victor Nichoson, Stanley Beach, Charles Bennett and Edwyn Webster.
