Jordan, son of a prominent citizen of Clarksville, was also among the killed. His father was expecting him home and when he heard of the wreck his fears were aroused, and in company with others who were expecting relatives on the ill-fated train, he went to the scene of the disaster, walking ten miles of the way. They worked on the wreck all night but found no trace of the missing man. Later, however, he was found in O’Brien Bros. morgue at Grand Rapids.
