Ionia Sentinel - April 6, 1968
Cecil C. Jordan, 57, of route 3, Lake Odessa, died suddenly Friday noon in a 
local doctor's office of an apparent heart attack.  He was born in Woodland 
township, October 9 1910, the son of Jasper and Nettie Smith Jordan and lived 
his entire life in the Woodland area. A graduate of Woodland high school for 
the past 18 years he was employed at Hitt Implement company in Woodland.  He 
was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.

Surviving are two brothers, Irving of Lake Odessa and Ward of Woodland; one 
sister, Mrs. Elwood Henney of rural Lake Odessa.  Funeral services will be 
Monday at 1:30 pm at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Einar 
Unseth officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
