Lake Odessa Wave 
          MATILDA JORDAN DIED SATURDAY
   Mrs. Matilda Jane Jordan 73, an ordained Minister, died Saturday in Grand Rapids.
 She had ben a resident there about 40 years and was also a former local resident.  After 
graduation from Bible College, she was assigned as minister of the U. B. Church at 
Grand Rapids.  She later joined the First Church of the Nazarene and was active in 
preaching and mission work until her last illness.
   Surviving are two brothers William Gavit of Lake Odessa and Sam Gavit of
Portland, nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Sullivan funeral home with burial in
Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
