LAKE ODESSA-  Carl Jordan, 89, of 3535 Woodland Road, Woodland, died Friday 
afternoon in Pennock Hospital, Hastings.

Born May 12, 1894, in Woodland Township, he was the son of Fred and Juna 
Katherman Jordan, and graduated from Woodland School. He was a farmer in the 
Woodland area all his life.

He was married to Mildred Todd in 1928; she preceded him in death in April 1974.

He was a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church, Lake Odessa, F. & A. M. 
Lodge No. 395, the Woodland Lions Club, Barry County Farm Bureau, and was 
actively involved in the Bicentennial Wagon Train.

Surviving are one son, Rodney of Bridgeport; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Jane) 
Hesterly of Hastings; four grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and one great 
grandson. 

Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa. the Rev. George Speas officiated. Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park.
