           OREN JORDAN DEAD.  RESIDENT OF WOODLAND

                                      ----------------

   Oren Jordan, an old resident of Woodland, died Friday night at the home of his
son, Dayton Jordan.

   The funeral was held at the home Sunday at 2:30.  Rev. Isaac Mourer preached and
the body was laid to rest 
in Lakeside cemetery.

   Mr. Joran was a pioneer of Woodland township and was well known by a large number
of people.
