The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, November 26, 1983


Marion A. Jordan, 77, of 1370 Knox Road, Portland, former Ionia resident, died 
Friday in the Portland Nursing Home.  She was born March 9, 1906, the daughter 
of Peter and Mary Maloney Jordan, and was a retired secretary of the Michigan 
Mutual Insurance Co.

She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Martin (Joan) Pline of Portland and one 
grandnephew, Nicholas Pline, also of Portland.

Rosary services will be Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Neller Funeral Home in 
Portland.  Funeral mass will be Monday, Nov. 28, at St. Patrick’s Church, 
Portland, the Rev. Richard VanLente officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet 
Cemetery, Ionia.
