The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, September 29, 1951

John P. Jorgensen, 63, of 422 Pleasant street died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday, 
September 29, at the Ionia Rest home where he had been a patient since 
December, 1950.

He was born August 18, 1999, in Denmark and had been an Ionia county resident 
for some time.

Surviving are his wife, Georgianna; thre daughters, Mrs. Doris Fancett of Palo 
and Mrs. Dorothy Nelson and Frances Jorgensen of Ionia, one son, Marvin 
Jorgenson, Ionia; five grandchildren; five brothers, Holgar, Otto and Bryan of 
Edmore, Albert of Lansing and Peter of California, and four sisters, Mrs. 
Martha Walters of Greenville, Mrs. Marie Hayden of Milford, Mrs. Anna Tyler of 
Mason and Ella Jorgensen of Edmore.

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, at 2 p.m. at the Myers funeral 
home.  The Rev. Court Adams will officiate.  Interment will be in an Ionia 
cemetery.
