Wheeler was born in Akron, Ohio, sixty-one years ago. She was the daughter of Marcellus Wheeler, and had many friends in Smyrna which for some years was her home. In July 1860, she was married to Tyler Joslin, M.D., and their union was blessed with three children, Mark, May and Marcia, the latter of Geneva, N.Y., all of whom are living and with their father deeply mourn the loss of a loved and loving wife and mother, who after long suffering passed from earth last Thursday, May 18, at her home in Lakeview. All the children were with their mother at the last. In compliance with the request of deceased, Mrs. Joslin’s remains were brought to Smyrna to the home of her brother-in-law, Chas. W. Joslin where funeral services were held Sunday forenoon at 10 o’clock, conducted by Elder M.L. Howe of Brink. Interment in the family lot in Smyrna cemetery.
