She underwent an operation at a Grand Rapids hospital four months ago, and failed rapidly since. Mrs. Joslin has been totally blind for 15 years, and has been patient during her long illness. She was born in Ionia county 68 years ago. Before her marriage she was Miss Dora Cornell, daughter of a well-known Ionia county pioneer family. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Myers, and granddaughter, of Los Angeles, Cal. The funeral will be held from the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Stewart, pastor of the Portland Baptist church, will have charge of the service. Burial will take place in the Portland cemetery.
