She was born Nov. 30, 1910, the daughter of Gur and Mabel Baum McIntyre. On Nov. 11, 1928 she married Verdier Joslin in Grand Rapids. Together, they made their home in Ionia since 1936. She was a Lansing Community College graduate and was employed at Ionia County Memorial Hospital as a LPN. A former deacon of First Presbyterian Church, she was also active in Girl Scouts. She is survived by her husband, five daughters,JoAnn Arends and Carol Fosburg of Ionia, Mary Jo Conley of Battle Creek, Judy Asialia of Detroit, and Betsy Lichtenfelt of Edmore. Also surviving her are one sister, Josephine Laraway of Grand Rapids, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Funeral services will beheld Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will be at Roetman Funeral Home Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial establishment for First Presbyterian Church, may be left at the funeral home.
