Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard - Feb. 24, 1976


Mrs. Olive Emily (Mrs. Alan F.)Joslyn, 90, formerly of Easton township, died 
Monday evening at the Belding Nursing home where she had been a patient 2 ½ 
years.

Born in Ionia county October 25, 1885, she was the daughter of George and Lucy 
Leach.

In 1904, she married Legrand Terry who died in 1953. In 1954 she married Alan 
F. Joslyn who died in 1959.

Among her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Guernsey of Belding and 
Mrs. Myrtie Bowerman of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren; 18 great 
grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 pm at the Kauffman-Doughty funeral home. Rev. 
Douglas Niemi of Greenville will officiate and interment will be at Easton 
cemetery.

Family members will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 
pm.
