Ionia Sentinel Standard - March 24, 1980


Grace Joslyn, 83, of 449 Jermyn St., Ionia, died Friday at the Balding 
Christian Nursing Home.

Mrs. Joslyn was on March 5, 1897, in Easton Township, Ionia County. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Hazen, who died in 1951.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ionia.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Helen) Salzman of Belding; two sons, 
Jack Joslyn of Ionia and Robert Joslyn of Lansing; one sister, Mrs. Ruth 
Jackson of Palo, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hoffman Funeral Home, 
Belding, with the Rev. Carl Hausermann officiating. Burial will be in Easton 
Cemetery.

Friends and relatives may visit Monday and Tuesday, 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral 
home. Memorial contributions may be donated to the First United Methodist 
Church Organ Fund.
