Joslyn, 87, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Pansy Glossi, West Washington street, Saturday, March 17, at 4:30 a.m. He was born August 13, 1964, in Bay City, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edson Joslyn. At the age of 17 he moved to Ionia county with his parents and lived on an Easton farm until the past few years. In 1887 he married Bertha Mason who died in 1918. Joslyn had the record of never missing a vote in an Eaton election until recently when ill health confined him to the house. Surviving are ten children, Allan, Mrs. Martha Mason, Edson, Hazen, Mrs. Pansy Glossi and David, all of Ionia; Mrs. Lula Lusk of Saranac, Mrs. Ione Beachnau and Mrs. Alice Beachnau of Lansing and Mrs. Ethel Wood of Howard City; 30 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. One son, Howard, died during World War II. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
