Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 5 Oct 1940

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. from the SS. Peter and 
Paul church for William Joyce, prominent business man who died Thursday at his 
home.  Rev. Fr. Charles Nugent of Douglas and Rev. Fr. Liguori, C.S.S.R. of 
Chicago, both first cousins of the deceased, conducted the funeral Mass.

Bearers were John Longe, George White, Ambrose Greening. Ivan Clark, Leo Howard, 
and Roy McNaughton, the latter of Jackson.  Floral arrangements were in charge of 
Mrs. Ambrose Greening, Mrs. Ivan Clark, Mrs. Frank Abfalter and Mrs. John Allison.
