John C. Joynt of Sebewa Passes

Died Monday Night Following Two Week’s Illness From Pneumonia

John C. Joynt, 65, died at his home in Sebewa Monday night, of pleuropneumonia 
following a two week’s illness.  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon 
at two o’clock from the Sebewa church.  Besides his wife, Mabel, he is survived 
by three sons, Wesley, of Tucson, Arizona, William and Gerald, of Lansing, and 
a daughter, Mrs. Muriel Gierman, also of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Anne 
Miller, of Bay City, Mrs. Bert Baker, of Hope, Mich., and two brothers, Robert, 
of Bay City, and Ed Joynt, of Hope.  Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Joynt, of Tucson, 
arrived at the father’s bedside Sunday.
