He had been in failing health for some time but had been seriously ill for the past two weeks. He was born January 14, 1854, at Clifton, in Monroe County, Wis. He was married to Miss Mary Hargraves September 29, 1880 at Bridgeville, in Monroe County, Wis., and the following spring they went to Minnesota where they resided for 10 years. In 1890 they moved to Ronald township and after living for about a year in Palo they moved to the farm where they have resided since. They were pioneers of Ronald township and when they first went there 45 years ago they had to cut away the woods before building their house. Mr. Judevine was a member of the Palo Methodist church. Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. James M. Chapman of Colorado Springs, Colo.: two sons, Vernon Judevine of Palo and Frank Judevine of Ionia: one brother, Frank Judevine of Holland, Minn., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Judevine home south of Palo Saturday afternoon at 2 O’clock Rev. F.N. Drake of Hubbardston will officiate. Interment will be at Woodard Lake cemetery.
