Mar. 21, 1983 Nettie D. Judevine, 96, long-time Ronald Township resident, died Sunday at the home of a daughter in rural Saranac. Born in Ronald Township near Palo on Sept. 7, 1886, she ws the daughter of Stillman and Henrietta Westfall Livingston. She attended Palo School, and was married to Vernon Judevine in Eagle River in 1912, where he was teaching. They made their home in Eagle River for eight years, moving to a farm south of Palo in 1920. He continued to teach in area schools, including Palo and Clarksville. He preceded her in death Jan 5, 1969. She continued to make her home near Palo until moving to Mill Creek Meadows in Saranac in 1978. She joined Palo United Methodist Church at age 16 and was a member for more than 80 years; she was also a life member of Palo chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are one son; four daughters; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Arrangements by Leddick Funeral Home, Ionia Burial in Palo cemetery.
