Mrs. Mary Judevine, aged 83, passed away Thursday morning June 11 at her home
south of Palo after several weeks illness from heart trouble and other
complications.  Mrs. Judevine was born in Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Isaac Hargrave.  In 1880 she was married to Danon Judevine.  In 1891 Mr.
and Mrs. Judevine moved to Michigan and settled upon the farm where they spent
the rest of their lives.  Mr. Judevine passed away in February, 1935.  She
leaves three children, Mrs. Lena Chapman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Vernon
Judevine of Ronald and Frank Judevine of Ionia, seven grandchildren and one
great grandchild.  She was a sister of the late Dr. F.A. Hargrave and was the
last member of a family of seven children.  She was a member of the Palo
Methodist church.  Funeral services were held at her home Sunday afternoon and
burial was in Woodard Lake cemetery.
