Ionia Weekly Standard - Friday, Feb. 21, 1913

Judson Lee, a long-time and prominent resident of Keene, which town he 
served long as supervisor, is dead at his home there following an attack of 
bowel trouble. Mr. Lee did his chores as usual the night before taken ill 
although complaining that he could hardly keep up. He was taken sick during 
the night and upon the arrival of the physicians it was found that an 
immediate operation would have to be performed. His death occurred about two 
hours later. The funeral will be held upon the arrival of his daughter, Miss 
Jessie Lee, who left for California a few days ago where she is a teacher. 
She has been notified and is on her way home. Mr. Lee was about 63 years of 
age and leaves a widow and two children.
